About the instructor:

Lana Lily is a lover of history with a passion for historical sewing techniques.  With a degree in Fashion Design from FIDM and more than 30 years experience as a historical reenactor she combines modern and historical techniques to create a unique approach to both historical and modern clothing creation. Lana found a love for teaching historical sewing at Costume College and had the honor of being Dean of Costume College 2007.  With over 25 years teaching at various venues, at this point in her sewing journey Lana believes each project is an opportunity to learn and refine our skills and that the quality of the finish result has more to do with the time you are willing to spend and not the skills you currently have.
